Alan is the best aurora hunter in Finland! It was early March and the temperature was around 0°C, so it wasn't the best season, but he drove over 100 km from Rovaniemi and we were finally able to see the aurora. He always checked the information and took us to the best spot at that time. He also took lots of photos. It was a little scary driving on the snowy roads though. Thank you, Alan, from a tourist from Japan 🇯🇵

Rasa was absolutely incredible! He stayed out driving until 4am to help us hunt the Northern Lights and constantly checked the predictions to give us the best possible chance. He drove safely and confidently in icy winter conditions, which made us feel completely secure. He also took amazing photos of us under the lights, which we'll treasure forever. It was a heavily cloudy night in Rovaniemi, but our guide, Ilari, drove us all the way to Sweden to find clear skies! He's a professional with a great camera and captured so many stunning photos for us. The Northern Lights were absolutely breathtaking. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommended!

Ilari was so accommodating towards our family. He was on time and took us to different locations to ensure the best photo outcomes. The second location was secluded and very private with open space to allow wide view of the Northern line. The experience overall was magnificent. We got to see the northern line pretty quickly, we also were provided with warm juice and biscuits. Ilari was also very good with the cold as he stood for hours taking pictures for us. Would 100% recommend, very private and cool🥰

We were very lucky to have seen the Northern Light early on in the night! It was very cold so we stayed in the car, but Ilari, our guide, continued to stay outside taking pictures of the Northern Lights for us. He was very accommodating and even drove us to 2 different locations to get a better view of it. We were offered hot juice and cookies. He even recommended some poses for us to take pictures☺️ Overall it was a very pleasant experience and would book with them again if we have a chance😚

We enjoyed hunting for polar lights were much with Alan. He was very nice and what is for us the most important we were able to see the polar lights. It was breathtaking. We recommend this event to everybody.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Alan as our aurora hunting tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm for spotting the Northern Lights is truly contagious. From the very beginning, his excitement set the tone for the entire evening. His English is impeccable, and we had a wonderful conversation about his life and work in Finland, which made the experience feel personal and genuine. You can tell he truly loves what he does. As anyone knows, the aurora can be tricky to find with cloud cover, but Alan was more than willing—excited, even—to drive as far as necessary to find clear skies based on the forecast. He was completely dedicated to giving his guests the best possible chance to see the lights. Midway through the tour, he treated us to delicious hot berry juice and cookies, which was such a thoughtful and cozy touch. We were lucky enough to see the green dancing lights fairly early in the tour, and Alan's joy when he captured our photos with the bright aurora glowing behind us was so much fun. His excitement felt just as big as ours! I know there are many tour guides out there, but I truly can't imagine anyone being more genuine, passionate, and dedicated than Alan. He was terrific, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone hoping to experience the magic of the Northern Lights. We liked him so much I needed a selfie and a hug after the tour.

A big shout out to Alan, who went out of the way to find us a space on our last day in RVN. And they took us to a good plave to watch the NL with out very long drives. Even if the solar activitiy was not very high, they waited patiently to show various formations (saw 4 times)... great team and thanks a lot Alan & Ilari.

He's not the kind of guide who's satisfied with just one photo of you; he puts in 100% effort to ensure you have the best experience. We started our tour at 7 pm and saw the first show right at the beginning, and even so, we continued. The tour only ended around midnight. I highly recommend that you go Aurora hunting with them. Among so many tours and travel companies taking you for Northern lights . We were lucky to get Alen of Aurora Arctic Adventures . A personalised tour and he travelled EXTTTTTRRRRAAA miles to make sure we see the dancing Aurora . He took amazing pictures and the night was made. He stopped at different places , waiting to look at the sky and VOILA : FINALLY THE SKY CLEARED and we saw one of the most amazing one. All efforts of Allen. The BEST EVER!! Honestly a once in a lifetime experience and these two guys really made it a dream come true for us. I originally booked a Northern Lights tour for tomorrow several weeks in advance. Unfortunately, the forecast predicted cloudy conditions for that day, which led me to cancel the tour. I was incredibly fortunate to cross paths with Alan. After I mentioned my disappointment about the weather, he generously offered to take us out that same evening to view the Northern Lights, especially since the outlook for this evening was excellent. Alan was the best guide we could have POSSIBLY asked for. He genuinely cares about his guests getting to experience the auroras, and is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure you have the experience. I came to Finland to propose to my girlfriend under the northern lights all the way from Los Angeles. The conditions sadly were not good for them anywhere in Rovaniemi… so Alan drove us three and a half hours to Sweden- all while he was crunching weather data and aurora activity to find the perfect spot. The Aurora hunt with Alan Kesketalo and Ilari Karppenan was truly spectacular! It was cold, windy and snowy and after having waited for 10 days in Lapland and not seeing the aurora by ourselves, this was our last shot really! These two guys absolutely made it happen and boy it was an out of this world experience. They are Finnish boys with killer instinct to spot, passion to go any distance, local connects and support for accurate information and incredible patience and kindness to take endless pictures till your face goes numb!! We came to Rovaniemi to be surprised by terrible weather but through a chance encounter got to know about aurora arcitx adventures. Alan, our driver, guide and friend went out of the way to find the only place where we could have a chance to see northern lights in an otherwise 0% chance weather. We ended up seeing the best display and explosions of northern lights. He is extremely helpful and a great conversationist. I highly recommend. We hope to come back again in future.
